The NAB Foundation is a nonprofit organization established over 25 years ago. It has several educational programs for those who are interested, such as the Broadcast Leadership Training program, a 10-month executive program for future and current radio or television station leaders.
Broadcast Leadership Training is designed for women or people of color who are senior-level broadcast executives working to advance as station owners or group executives. Those who attend the program will learn the fundamentals of buying, owning, and managing a successful broadcast operation and how to apply proven principles to plan future career goals. So far, over 325 professionals have completed Broadcast Leadership Training, and 65 percent of them have since received a promotion.
